We are so excited and humbled to be honored with the award of Non-Profit of the Year from our amazing Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce, for our work assisting low-income families in Bedford County.
Our many programs, including Easter Eggstra, Shoes for Students, Year-Round Food Pantry, Christmas Selection eXpress, and our Fundraising Sales, continue to provide much-needed relief to families in need. We couldn’t do what we do without the help of our volunteers, donors from organizations, businesses, churches, and schools, and individuals who donate to support our programs.
All the nominees who shared the category with us were well deserving. Congratulations to Bedford Ride, Bedford Area Master Gardeners Association, CASA of Central Virginia, and SML Civitan Club.
